This unique five week series combines education and thoughtful discussion on how dementia changes and progresses, and your role as a family caregiver.
This series features short video clips from Teepa Snow, one of the world’s leading educators on dementia and the care that accompanies it.
The virtual format allows for participation from the comfort of one’s own home or another location of choice, thus not requiring any type of travel. With minimal equipment needed for participation– all you need is a computer or laptop with a microphone and a camera, with access to the internet. The online platform used to connect – Zoom – is easy to use, and free.
The series occurs over 5 sessions on Fridays from 10:30am-12:00pm beginning Nov 5th and ending Dec 3rd. Participants must be available to attend all 5 sessions and have access to an electronic device with a webcam.
