As part of Dying With Dignity Canada’s Learning Centre series, “Patient Rights 101” DWDC will speak with Ruby Shanker about your rights as a patient and how to stay informed regardless of your medical situation.

Speaker:

Ruby Shanker, Bioethicist for the University Health Network Toronto Rehab, Women’s College Hospital, and the Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care. She is a former physician with clinical experience in general and community medicine practice. Within healthcare ethics, her areas of practice and experience span widely from acute and critical care to post-acute and rehabilitation care ethics, especially in response to ethical issues arising in care at the beginning and end of life.

If you can’t attend on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, a recording will be posted on our website and emailed to all registrants. However, only those who attend the webinar live on June 1 will have the opportunity to ask questions of our speaker.
