Did you know that practicing self-compassion releasing calming hormones into the nervous system and helps to boost immune function?

However, feeling compassionately towards someone else is often easier than feeling compassion for ourselves! In this workshop we will explore how compassion fatigue can impact caregivers capacity for feeling compassion towards themselves.

Participants will learn practical exercises designed to strengthen self-compassion.

This session will be offered by Jessica Lemieux (MSW, RSW), a registered social worker, therapist and meditation teacher. Jessica uses gentle movement, visualization, soothing sounds, contemplative exercises and includes a psycho-educational component.
