This three part discussion series brings together people with lived experience of dementia to share their experiences of participating in research projects and support/peer groups.
These panel discussions will be hosted by Myrna Norman, a researcher and an advocate who lives with dementia, with the support of Emily Carr University’s Health Design Lab and the Alzheimer Society of BC. The panelists will share their stories of participation and collaboration on different projects to inspire meaningful and reciprocal ways of involving people living with dementia in health, community or other types of research.
People who work on dementia related projects are invited to listen to these panel conversations, including researchers, designers and interdisciplinary practitioners. You may register to attend one or all three panel discussions.
